Last Summer, Choze & JustNice set out on their journey to create the perfect project. A project that would showcase their ability and allow them to take what is truly theirs. They worked tirelessly and through it all, they created a project was recognized by some of the most respected people and blogs in the game (including Kevin Nottingham, DDotOmen & Hip-Hop Update). Soon after, Choze’s manager and former DJ, Natac, began to blend records again and offered to do a remix of their record Drive. From there, they never turned back, setting out, once again to re-create a truly special project for the fans to enjoy. The project features production from Bangladesh, Hi-Tek, 9th Wonder, Sledgren & much more.

Most of the mixtape is produced by Klash of Protostar Ent., a newer but highly competitive force in the blog world. Klash's production has already started to catch on with blogs, even as he's co-currently attending music school, honing his skills as a musician. So Respect Earned I FINALLY here and we're excited to say we've helped them get to this point. So I rounded out the information with a write up that's been going around and it goes a little something like this:

In 2009, independent artists rarely get enough recognition in an ever growing world of commercially geared Hip-Hop. Talent and creativity often goes disregarded, leaving once promising careers as unrecognized potential. This time, Choze & JustNice have decided to team up, and take what is theirs in "Respect Earned."

Choze is the leader of Portland based crew Neu Beginin, an Engineer and rapper, who stumbled out of the myspace music world and into the blogosphere earlier this year. Since, he’s done songs with Quest and has already been on sites like HipHopUpdate & XclusivesZone.Net. Meanwhile, Lancaster, Pennsylvania’s own, JustNice has been a ghostwriting for several artist over the past few 2 years as well as performing all around Pennsylvania.

For the past 6 months, Choze & JustNice have been hard at work creating the perfect project that will net them the respect they deserve. Along the way, they’ve found a crew of supporters in Sound Society, Hailmegatron & The Eargasm, who will be the official presenters of Respect Earned.
